In 9U, players are introduced to scoring while further developing the basic baseball skills of hitting, throwing, catching and base running.

Players hit from a pitching machine that sits 120 feet away and pitches between 35 and 40 mph. In the field, players are rotated through all positions and are given equal playing time.

Teams play an inter-division schedule followed by playoffs at the end of the season.

There are two games and/or practices per week on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Games and practices are at either Wishing Well Park or McGregor Park. (See Park Maps)

9U ball is open to all boys and girls 8 and 9 years old by December 31 of the current year.
