11U is our players first step into baseball, with amended rules to assist with development. Players are introduced to live pitching and the concept of stealing bases while continuing to develop their basic baseball skills of hitting, throwing, catching and base running. In the field, players are encouraged to try every position and are given equal playing time.

The program is for boys and girls that are 10 and 11.

Games and/or Practices will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays (1st half of season will be one practice and one game per week before moving to two games a week.

Games and practices will take place at either Wishing Well Park or Wexford Park. (See Park Maps)

During regular season play, the main focus is on development and trying all players in all positions. During the playoffs, coaches may choose to focus certain players in certain positions

Teams play an inter-division schedule followed by playoffs at the end of the season. Players chosen to play on the 11U Select team are also required to play on a 11U House League team.

Equipment required:

  • Running shoes or baseball cleats
  • Baseball glove
  • Batting helmet with chin strap
  • bat
  • Athletic supporter (cup)

Equipment provided:

  • Full uniform, including baseball shirt, pants, hat and socks
  • Team catcher’s equipment
  • Team training baseball
