As we begin our second full season under the names Wexford-Agincourt Baseball League and "Twins" I think it is important that we thank those that played a very important role towards making our league what it is today.

     Without The VanSlack family (Agincourt A's) and John Lopez and Carmen Eick (Wexford Sox) there is a good chance neither league would have been around to make this merger. They were the glue that held both individual leagues together and kept them running for so many years.  And it was this group of people that helped with the transition into the strong league we are now instead of two struggling leagues.  For this we Thank-you and look forward to seeing you at the park this summer. 

    On that note, another season is just upon us and once again numerous events are planned. Spring Baseball Clinics, Tournaments . During the winter we organized winter baseball practices, attend Scarborough Baseball Association meetings, meetings concerning parks and parks maintenance to elect new executive members.

    Our events will include free Hot Dogs on Picture Day and Pizza on Trophy Day. We know that as parents we have busy schedules, so we try to keep these evenings as short as possible.   We are looking into holding a Hit, Run , and throw contest for the younger kids. This season, we are also introducing a soft toss pitching machine to our T-Ball / 4 Pitch division (an effort to provide consistency for our young sluggers).
 

Finally, We would like to say "Thank you" to last year's Executive and "Welcome aboard!" to everyone new. Without you all as volunteers, we would not have a league.

In closing, We would like to say, "LET'S HAVE FUN AND PLAY BALL!"
